The doctors are wasting no time with treatment, as Grant underwent his first chemotherapy session today. It took about 1.5 hours to administer the meds, and Grant slept through most of it. Damon and I watched with mixed emotions - happy he's getting the meds he needs to fight this disease but definitely sad to think about strength of meds and treatment this poor little guy will have to endure. Grant continues to be his normal smiley self, and he was playing in his bouncy seat and cooing just 10 minutes after treatment.....
