Grant continues to be his normal, sweet self. He was a chatty guy today, babbling and cooing to make sure everyone was paying attention to him when he was awake. He's petrified of loud noises (Damon sneezing and Alstott barking), but he absolutely loves when you make silly goo-goo sounds at him.
We went back to the doctor today for his 4-month immunizations - despite the cancer, he's still able to follow the normal immunization schedule with the exception of live vaccinations. Nicole (the sweetest nurse) was apologizing for hurting him, but Grant took it like a pro. Compared to the three IV's he had last week, the two little needle pokes were just a brief cry followed by a smile. He's still two ounces shy of the 11 pound mark - - I'm convinced once we finally cross the 11-pound mark, he'll start to pack on the weight!
Hoping that Granty will demonstrate the same persistence as the St. Louis Cardinals...what a elimination game comeback tonight (for all StL fans)!!! This was the happiest Damon and I have been in at least two weeks!

Grant is your good luck charm! Grandma Jessie would be so excited for his blue eyes. Love you all!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the Cardinals have Grant to bring them good luck! What a game!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you had asked the Cards to win one for Grant...
ReplyDeleteDuring the first game in the series, I kept telling myself even though I love my GIants. That the Cardinals could win, because that is Grant's team!
