Two-A-Days

I had no idea that Grandma Niehoff (NeNe) was such a rigorous personal trainer - she's been putting Grant through "two-a-days" of the exercises that were provided by the Physical Therapist at Phoenix Children's.  By the time he's done with each workout, poor Grant just passes out asleep on the mat.  Maybe we've found a new career for NeNe....

Tomorrow the nursing training will continue for Damon and myself.  A nurse will be coming to the house to provide a tutorial on dressing changes for Grant's broviac pump.  This is the nerve-racking one, as when the dressing's off, there's a direct line to the blood vessels in his chest.  Yikes - makes the NG tube insertion seem like a cakewalk.

"Brotherly" love (sort of....)

His fingers have become his new pacifier.
